Sihing Phillip Cruz is currently the Program Director and Senior staff instructor of Anderson’s Martial Arts.

Phillip Cruz has been a private student of Sifu Andersons for more than a decade. Traveling to seminars, working with martial art masters and being exposed to the highest level of professional fighters in his decade of training, teaching and competing for Andersons Martial Arts Academy. Sihing has been Sifu Andersons assistant, as well as the training and sparring partner for many professional fighters, military, police and film projects.

He has received Associate Instructor Ranking in the Andersons Martial Arts system and as such is the only instructor other than Sifu Anderson to be able to award rank within the school.

In addition following the advice of Sifu Anderson, Phillip trained under Sifu Paul Vunak and Thomas C Cruse, culminating in his being awarded full instructorship status under both instructors under Progressive Fighting Systems, as well as being named the PFS East Coast Certification Officer.

He has also trained under several Brazilian Jiu Jitsu instructors, being awarded his blue belt under Sensei Rodolfo Amaro and his Brown Belt under World Champion Vitor Shaolin Ribiero. In his early years at the Academy Sihing has competed in Boxing and trained extensively for Muay Thai competition.

Currently Sihing works closely with Sifu Anderson to develop both beginner, amateur and professional competitors in all areas of training, including Boxing, Muay Thai, Mixed Martial Arts, Brazilian JiuJitsu and Kali.
