Dasha Libin

Dasha Libin MS, NASM-PES, NASE is a contributing editor to BlackBelt Magazine (one of the largest and oldest martial art publications in the world). She writes a monthly column called FUEL, which deals with martial arts and sport nutrition.

Dasha is also a contributor to FIGHT! Magazine, in which she writes a monthly column called Food and Training on a Fighter! budget.

Dasha Libin has a Masters Degree (MS) in Exercise Science with a specialty in Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention.

Dasha is a Certified Performance Enhancement Specialist (NASM-PES) with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. And a Certified Speed and Explosion Specialist (NASE-SES) with the National Association of Speed and Explosion.

Her graduate education in Sport Performance Enhancement assists Sifu Anderson in structuring the nutrition and conditioning plans for the AMAA fighters and competitors. Using her experience in both martial arts and fitness, as well as her time working with professional athletes, Dasha has developed a training system called Draco Fitness, which brings professional sport conditioning and injury prevention methods to the regular individual. Her method has been proven to create individualized results for people with all types of goals and needs.

Dasha Libin started training in Jeet Kune Do in 1998, in 2005 she began training privately with Sifu Anderson, and has been a student of his ever since. In the past several years Dasha has had the opportunity to train and travel with Sifu Anderson, gaining exposure to a variety of arts, instructors and martial art legends.

Dasha is a Certified Full Instructor in Jeet Kune Do Concepts and Filipino Martial Arts under Sifu Paul Vunak and Sifu Thomas C. Cruse, ranking in Progressive Fighting Systems.

She is a Brazilian JiuJitsu blue belt under World Champion Vitor Shaolin Ribiero and Sifu Anderson.

Additionally, Dasha Libin is also the organizer and instructor for the AMAA Free Women’s Self Defense program, teaching a class designed and open to the public once a month. The program also functions as a charity fundraiser, of which all donations for the free class go to benefit local charities.
