Draco Fitness

Draco -  the Latin word for Dragon, symbolizes power, strength, longevity, diversity.

At Anderson’s Martial Arts, strength and conditioning is handled by Draco Fitness.

Draco has an individualized approach that is proven, effective and based on both experience and science. In addition to the general physical and aesthetic benefits, the methods utilized by Draco mold seamlessly with Anderson’s Martial Arts, Martial Sport and Martial Combat programs and have been proven to accelerate the learning curve and enhance the quality and performance of AMAA students, fighters and instructors.

Draco Training is highly individualized, with a focus on a broad spectrum of athleticism, performance and over all, optimal health. At Draco, there is no end state to training, only an evolution of fitness, health, physical and mental ability, toughness and durability.

At Draco there are no general programs, instead we lead you to your goals by tailoring individual training depending on your personal factors. Each person will progress differently, to reach personal optimal level of fitness and performance. Draco’s motto is that training must compliment and mold to the person, not the person to the training.

We utilize kettle bells, NASE track and field methods, ‘strongman’ activities, martial arts training and conditioning methods, gymnastics methods, Yoga, Pilates, plyometrics, traditional bodybuilding, military conditioning and sport specific development drills. These methods are hand picked, mixed and prescribed in the appropriate progression tailor made for an individual’s specific biomechanical needs and personal goals.

Draco training is prescribed by a Master of Sports Science, Dasha Libin, MS, PES, NASE. Dasha is also a Certified Performance Enhancement Specialist (NASM-PES) with the National Academy of Sports Medicine, a Certified Speed and Explosion Specialist (NASE-SES) with the National Association of Speed and Explosion.

In addition to her extensive fitness education and experience Dasha has also spent almost a decade in martial arts, read full bio on her instructors page.
